Como parte de la gira de trabajo del Secretario de Desarrollo Económico de Tijuana (SEDETI), Arturo Pérez Behr, se concretó inversión millonaria por parte de la empresa ESON
Se impulsó la creación de una línea directa de carga a través de la compañía Hainan Airlines.
Tijuana, Baja California, 04 de noviembre de 2019.- Una inversión de más de 100 millones de pesos que significan 520 nuevos empleos y la implementación de un vuelo de carga comercial entre Tijuana y China, fueron parte de los resultados de la exitosa gira de promoción de esta ciudad en Asia.
La intensa jornada de trabajo por la República Popular China efectuada del 23 al 31 de octubre, fue impulsada por el presidente municipal, Arturo González Cruz y realizada por el Secretario de Desarrollo Económico de Tijuana (Sedeti), Arturo Pérez Behr.
En conferencia de prensa, el titular de Sedeti confirmó que se logró atraer la inversión de la empresa ESON Precision Manufacturing por 100 millones de pesos lo que derivará en la creación de 520 empleos directos.
El funcionario señaló que parte fundamental de la gira de trabajo fue la colaboración de Patricia Hernández, directora de Deitac y Samuel Lugo, presidente del Consejo Empresarial Asia- Baja California.
Recalcó que el viaje sirvió para gestionar la creación de una línea comercial directa de carga con la compañía Hainan Airlines, única empresa de China que cuenta con un vuelo turístico directo de aquel continente hacia esta frontera.
“Existe una gran área de oportunidad de hacer negocios con China, y compensar la balanza comercial que tenemos con ellos, ya que mientras ellos principalmente nos venden computadoras, motores, cámaras de fotos, partes y componentes electrónicos, partes y accesorios para vehículos, llantas y textiles, nosotros les vendemos circuitos electrónicos, minerales, teléfonos o partes, petróleo, cerveza, cobre, aparatos médicos y automóviles”, resaltó Pérez Behr.
El titular de Sedeti destacó el encuentro de trabajo que sostuvo con el Embajador de México en Beijing, José Luis Bernal Rodríguez, para fomentar el intercambio comercial entre ambos continentes, específicamente en el tema de la gastronomía tijuanense y la creación de la cerveza artesanal por talento local.
Además la reunión que se llevó a cabo con representantes de la Asociación de Importadores de Mariscos de Shanghái quienes se mostraron muy interesados en invertir en esta región fronteriza.
También sostuvo diversas reuniones de trabajo con representantes de sectores como electrónica, dispositivos médicos y gastronomía, se procuró impulsar el sector de comercio y logística internacional, tecnologías e innovación, turismo y ciudades inteligentes.
Actualmente en Tijuana existen 15 empresas de origen chino, que generan principalmente productos electrónicos, metalmecánico, aluminio, plásticos y que concentran a más de 13 mil empleados.
Hasta septiembre de este 2019, la inversión de China en Tijuana ha sido de 9.64 millones de dólares con tres empresas del sector electrónico y Dispositivos Médicos. México y principalmente Tijuana tienen que aprovechar las ventajas competitivas para incrementar su participación en el mercado Chino, que tan solo en 2017 tuvo un valor de casi 51 millones de dólares, indicó el secretario de Desarrollo Económico de Tijuana.
